MEETING OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE AGENCY AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE PUBLIC PROCUREMENT OFFICE

The Director of the Agency, Dejan Damnjanović, and the Director of the Public Procurement Office, Sandra Damčević, held a working meeting on improving cooperation in areas of common interest, with a special focus on the exchange of data important for performing tasks within the legally prescribed competences of both institutions. The meeting discussed the implementation of the existing regulatory framework, as well as the possibilities for improving preventive mechanisms that contribute to preventing corruption in the public procurement system.

TRAINING ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LAW ON FINANCING OF POLITICAL ACTIVITIES
23.10.2025.

The training on the topic "Implementation of the Law on Financing of Political Activities" was held for representatives of political entities from Valjevo and surrounding municipalities. On this occasion, employees of the Agency presented legal solutions and details from the by-laws that regulate this area. The main topics of the training focused on the sources and methods of financing political activities, the prohibitions related to such financing, and the most common legal violations encountered in practice by political entities.

MEETING BETWEEN THE DIRECTOR OF THE AGENCY FOR PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION AND THE ACTING HEAD OF THE OSCE MISSION TO SERBIA

The Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Dejan Damnjanović, met with Carolina Hidea, the Acting Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, to discuss past achievements and future cooperation in the fight against corruption. The meeting marked another step in the long-standing collaboration focused on promoting good governance, strengthening institutional integrity, and supporting corruption-prevention efforts across Serbia. Director Damnjanović expressed his appreciation for the Mission’s ongoing support, particularly its leadership in advancing good governance and institutional integrity. He highlighted that the meeting provided an opportunity to review the results of over 15 years of cooperation and to explore new initiatives aimed at further strengthening anti-corruption efforts in Serbia.

IACA SECOND EXPERT MEETING ON MEASURING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ANTI-CORRUPTION AGENCIES

Bojana Smartek, Acting Assistant Director of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Education Sector, participated in the Second Expert Meeting, held in Laxenburg, from 27 to 29 August, organized by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), at which the Draft Methodology for Measuring the Effectiveness of Anti-Corruption Agencies was presented. The methodology was developed by IACA within the Global Measurement Program on Corruption (GMPC) in cooperation with practitioners and experts from anti-corruption agencies around the world, as well as experts from international organizations, institutes, and civil society organizations.

MEETING BETWEEN THE AGENCY DIRECTOR AND THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION PhD DEJAN VUK STANKOVIĆ

At the initiative of the Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Dejan Damnjanović, a meeting was held with the Minister of Education in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, PhD Dejan Vuk Stanković. The purpose of the meeting was to inform the Minister about the implementation of ongoing activities and projects jointly undertaken by the Agency and the Ministry, as well as to discuss future plans and initiatives.

MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION AUDIT OFFICE

The Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Dejan Damnjanović, and his associates met today with Milena Milojević, Acting Director of the European Union Audit Office and representatives of the Office. The European Union Audit Office was designated as the audit authority by the Regulation on the Management of the Reform and Growth Instrument.
