The Director of the Agency, Dejan Damnjanović, and the Director of the Public Procurement Office, Sandra Damčević, held a working meeting on improving cooperation in areas of common interest, with a special focus on the exchange of data important for performing tasks within the legally prescribed competences of both institutions.
The meeting discussed the implementation of the existing regulatory framework, as well as the possibilities for improving preventive mechanisms that contribute to preventing corruption in the public procurement system.
Director Damnjanović emphasized on this occasion: “Considering the extremely successful cooperation between the Agency and the Office to date, it is in both interests to intensify the exchange of data and experiences in the coming period, as well as to continue joint activities in the field of prevention and education.”
Director Damčević emphasized the following: “The cooperation between the two institutions is significant in terms of implementing legal competencies and improving work results, thereby meeting anti-corruption standards and strengthening public trust in the procedures for spending public funds.
” It was concluded that in the coming period, the Agency and the Office will sign a Cooperation Agreement that will specify in detail joint activities to improve cooperation.
