MEETING WITH LIVIA STOICA BECHT, EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF GRECO

During her visit to Serbia, Livia Stoica Becht , Executive Secretary of GRECO and Head of the Council of Europe's Department for Economic Crime and Corruption, met with the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Deputy Director, Verka Atanasković, and her associates. The Agency is a key partner in implementing GRECO recommendations.

COOPERATION AGREEMENT IN THE FIELD OF CORRUPTION PREVENTION

In accordance with one of the conclusions from the thematic conference held during last year's celebration of International Anti-Corruption Day, which emphasized the importance of educating young people on this issue, the Director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, Dejan Damnjanović, the Minister of Education, prof. Slavica Đukić Dejanović, Ph.D., the Director of the Institute for the Improvement of Education and Training, Zlatko Grušanović, Ph.D, and the Acting Director of the Institute for Education Quality and Evaluation, Branislav Ranđelović, Ph.D., signed an Agreement on cooperation in the field of corruption prevention. The goal of the Agreement is to raise awareness among primary and secondary school students and empower them to recognize and combat corruption.
