EXPERT MISSION OF THE SPECIAL INVESTIGATION SERVICE OF LITHUANIA

Representatives of the Special Investigation Service of Lithuania have been conducting the third expert mission in the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, within the Project “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in the Republic of Serbia“ (EU for Fight Against Corruption and for Fundamental Rights), jointly financed by the EU, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).

ТHE WORK REPORT OF THE AGENCY AND THE REPORT ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE REVISED ACTION PLAN FOR CHAPTER 23 SUBMITTED TO THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

The Agency for Prevention of Corruption submitted the Work Report of the Agency for 2022, together with the Report on the Implementation of the Revised Action Plan for Chapter 23-Subchapter Fight Against Corruption today, in accordance with the deadline prescribed by the Law on Prevention of Corruption. Within this 13th Work Report, the work results of the Agency from the previous year are presented, as well as recommendations to the National Assembly related to the improvement of the implementation of corruption prevention mechanisms.

COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND INNOVATION CENTER OF THE FACULTY OF SECURITY STUDIES

Director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption Dejan Damnjanovic and Director of the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Security Studies at the University of Belgrade Prof. Dr. Mladen Milosevic signed Cooperation Agreement today. The Agreement establishes scientific-expert cooperation in the area of corruption research and fight against corruption and provides support of the Innovative Center to the Agency, through the analysis of the research results and development of innovative solutions, methods, techniques, software, products, as well as processes and services in the security systems.

REGIONAL CONFERENCE ON FIGHTING FRAUD WITH EU FUNDS

Representative of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption attends Regional Conference on Fighting Fraud with EU Funds-Cooperation between European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) and national authorities, which takes place on 21-22 March in Belgrade. The conference is organized by the Ministry of Finance with the support of the EU, German Development Cooperation, and the Italian Ministry of Interior.

GRECO PLENARY MEETING

Delegation of the Republic of Serbia attends the 93rd plenary meeting of the Council of Europe Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) from 20 to 24 March in Strasbourg. The Plenary will examine two evaluation reports relating to the 5th evaluation round, and nine compliance reports relating to the 4th evaluation round, concerning overall 11 member States: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Republic of Moldova, Monaco, Poland, Portugal and Ukraine.

MEETING OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE AGENCY AND HEAD OF OSCE MISSION TO SERBIA

Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Dejan Damnjanović has held a meeting with the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Ambassador Jan Braathu and his associates. Head of OSCE Mission to Serbia, Ambassador Braathu pointed out significance of a proper implementation of corruption prevention mechanisms, as well as willingness of the OSCE Mission to Serbia to continue supporting the Agency and the Republic of Serbia in implementation of reforms in the area of prevention and combating corruption.
