MEMORANDUM ON UNDERSTANDING SIGNED BETWEEN THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND THE AGENCY FOR PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Dejan Damnjanovic signed today a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Agency for Prevention of Corruption. The Memorandum is focused on further improvement of the partner relationship between the Ministry and the Agency in the area of corruption prevention including obligations of the public officials as per the Law on Corruption Prevention.

MEMORANDUM ON COOPERATION SIGNED BETWEEN THE AGENCY FOR PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION AND THE LAW FACULTY OF BELGRADE UNIVERSITY

Considering the competencies of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption defined by the Law on Prevention of Corruption, Law on Financing of Political Activities, and Law on Lobbying, and at the same time taking into account the social importance of the Law Faculty of Belgrade University, a Memorandum on cooperation was signed today between two institutions.

SBRA SIGNS NEW AGREEMENT ON DATA DOWNLOADING WITH THE AGENCY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION

Today at the Serbian Business Registers Agency’s head office in Belgrade, the SBRA director Milan Lučić and the director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (APC) Dejan Damnjanović signed a new agreement on data downloading, which will enable the regular download of data from the SBRA’s databases on business entities, beneficial owners, and related parties in the upcoming period, with a view to preventing corruption.

MEETING WITH THE HEAD OF COUNCIL OF EUROPE OFFICE IN BELGRADE

Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Mr. Dejan Damnjanović met today with the Head of Council of Europe Office in Belgrade Mr. Tobias Flessenkemper. They discussed the compliance of the Republic of Serbia with the Council of Europe Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) recommendations, as well as planned activities in the upcoming period.

COOPERATION WITH THE BUSINESS REGISTERS AGENCY

Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Mr. Dejan Damnjanovic met today with Director of the Business Registers Agency Mr. Milan Lucic. On this occasion, good and efficient cooperation in data exchange between two institutions, especially in the area of declaration and verification of assets of public officials, conflict of interest, and financing of political activities was noted.

STRATEGIC PLAN OF THE AGENCY FOR PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION DRAFTED

04.07.2023.

The Agency for Prevention of Corruption has drafted the Strategic Plan for the period from 2023 until 2027. The Strategic Plan defines the vision, mission, core values, five strategic goals, and 19 operational objectives for the next five years. Draft of the document the Agency prepared during the recently held workshop with the support of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, and used recommendations from the Special Investigation Service of Lithuania, defined within the Project “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in the Republic of Serbia“(EU for Fight Against Corruption and for Fundamental Rights.
