PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERHIP TRAINING

Within the Project “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in the Republic of Serbia“ (EU for Fight Against Corruption and for Fundamental Rights), jointly financed by the EU, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), implemented by GIZ, ADA, CPMA and OSCE Mission to Serbia, on April 8 and 9, third out of five planned trainings for the Agency for Prevention of Corruption representatives was held, on the topic “Public-Private Partnership”. Training was organized by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA). Besides representatives of the Agency, representatives of the Public Procurement Office also participated in the training.

Lecturer Мr. Drago Kos, a leading international anti-corruption expert, acquainted the participants with the definition and categories of public-private partnerships as well as with the goals of good governance through public-private partnerships.

Participants had the opportunity to learn more, through practical examples about the advantages, risks of corruption, and potential pitfalls of public-private partnerships in practice.
