Agency Director Dejan Damnjanović met with the Minister of Justice Maja Popović. The meeting was dedicated to a review of continuous successful cooperation between the Ministry and the Agency, as well as the upcoming joint activities.
The Director of the Agency reported to Minister Popović on the steps that the Agency has taken so far in order to fulfill the recommendations of the Group of States against Corruption of the Council of Europe (GRECO) in the Fifth Round of Evaluation, as well as the preparation for the participation of the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia in the upcoming 96 Plenary Meeting, that is scheduled for March.
Minister Popović emphasized the fact that effective prevention and fight against corruption contribute to the establishment of the rule of law and the strengthening of legal security. The importance of the activities that are necessary to comply with GRECO's international recommendations in the Fifth Evaluation Round, was especially emphasized.
