The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, as part of the "EU for the Rule of Law" project, with the aim to contribute to the improvement of the rule of law system as well as technical capacities in the Republic of Serbia, and in accordance with good practice and EU standards, donated valuable IT equipment for storage, protection and archiving of Agency documents.
The donation in the amount of 12,085,173.61 RSD is foreseen by the Agreement for the donation of IT equipment, was concluded between the Agency and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), responsible for the implementation of this project.
The value of the equipment, with which the European Union makes an immeasurable contribution to the work of the Agency, is reflected in the establishment of a better stability system and access to data and services. Apart from the replacement of obsolete equipment for data processing, this equipment enables better use of data, thus reliable work of the Agency. Finally, the infrastructure component of the project covers the storage and database system requirements for the next seven years.
This donation and the accompanying Agreement are one in a series of testimonies about the commitment of the EU and the Agency to achieve planned goals in the domain of corruption prevention through quality cooperation and mutual support.
