AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION WITH THE INSTITUTE FOR COMPARATIVE LAW

The Agreement on Cooperation between the Agency and the Institute for Comparative Law was signed today in the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, with the aim to establish scientific and professional cooperation regarding the study and analytical work of finding the best solutions in the field of corruption prevention to respect the principles of the rule of law consistently.

The agreement was signed, on behalf of the Institute of Comparative Law, by Vladimir Čolović, PhD, Director of the Institute, and, on behalf of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Verka Atanasković, Deputy Director of the Agency.

The main activity of the Institute for Comparative Law is comparative legal research, with the mission to, among other things, based on the analyses of comparative legislative solutions, contribute to the high-quality resolution of contemporary legal challenges in the Republic of Serbia, one of the most significant of which is the effective institutional fight against corruption.

Through the organization and implementation of joint research projects in the field of corruption research and the fight against corruption, the development of new research methods, the mutual exchange of lecturers in areas of mutual interest, and more, the Agency and the Institute for Comparative Law will contribute to further comprehensive fight against corruption as one of the most negative social phenomena.
