Meetings with the representatives of the Special Investigation Service of Lithuania (STT), organized within the Project “Facility Supporting Strengthening Rule of Law in the Republic of Serbia“ (EU for Fight Against Corruption and for Fundamental Rights), continued in the period from 28TH November until 1st December 2022, in the Agency for Prevention of Corruption. Representatives of the Sector for Media and Civil Society Cooperation, Sector for Legal Affairs, Sector for Prevention and Strengthening Integrity, Sector for Conflict of Interest and Lobbying Issues, and Sector for External Affairs and Strategic Development attended the meetings.
Topics regarding anti-corruption education, awareness raising, and communication were discussed. The legal framework of anti-corruption education, tools of anti-corruption education, principles, and target groups of awareness-raising activities of the STT were presented, with the examples from Lithuania.
The second part of the mission was focused on strategic anti-corruption communication. Goals, main principles, most commonly used practices of external communication, and the importance and best practices of internal communication were presented.
A possible adaptation of the presented tools and principles of awareness-raising and communication, to the system of Serbia, was discussed during the meetings.
