13.07.2023.

Today at the Serbian Business Registers Agency’s head office in Belgrade, the SBRA director Milan Lučić and the director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (APC) Dejan Damnjanović signed a new agreement on data downloading, which will enable the regular download of data from the SBRA’s databases on business entities, beneficial owners, and related parties in the upcoming period, with a view to preventing corruption.

Mr. Damnjanović spoke of the APC’s previous cooperation with SBRA as successful and said he expected that access to more SBRA services will be enabled as a result of the signed agreement. The APC director went on to say that the SBRA’s data will serve the purpose of more efficient verification of the assets of public officials and in turn contribute to improving the work of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

Mr. Lučić and his colleagues also presented the SBRA’s new Portal for Data Delivery to the APC representatives. The technologically advanced Portal will enable integrated provision of services which will facilitate access to SBRA data, making it more useful for conducting everyday business as well as planning future business activities.

The Portal, which will be launched by the end of 2023, will enable the SBRA to operate within its competence more efficiently and provide easier access to data for state bodies, local self-government, and other interested users. The new solution will provide high-quality, consistent, and flexible online access to up-to-date data contained in all the Agency’s registers and records. There will also be additional options of using various advanced functionalities and smart searches, as well as daily monitoring of relevant changes.
