Minister of Information and Telecommunications in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Mihailo Jovanovic, and Assistant Director of the Office for IT and e-Government, Slavisa Antic, met today with the Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Dejan Damnjanovic, in Belgrade.
Minister Jovanovic emphasized that cooperation with the Agency for Prevention of Corruption is important for keeping data and data security of this independent state body, especially regarding the State Data Center infrastructure usage. He added that about 60 entities use the State Data Center infrastructure, as well as that 1000 access contact points are connected through the Unified network of e-Government.
Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Dejan Damnjanovic, pointed out the importance of mutual support between the Ministry and the Agency, especially in the telecommunications field. He added that together with the numerous completed jobs of the Agency in the area of improvement of the software and hardware equipment, the consent has been achieved related to the procurement of the data storage device, the establishment of the Disaster Recovery location in the State Data Center, as well as support in establishing and maintenance of the secondary location.
