The Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Dejan Damnjanovic, after the finalization of the public competition procedure, elected Verka Atanaskovic, a graduated lawyer, for the Deputy Director.
Verka Atanasković, who has been employed by the Agency since its foundation (2010), served as Acting Director on two occasions (2017/2018), and until this election, she was in the position of Assistant Director in the Sector for Conflicts of Interest and Lobbying. Atanasković has been performing the duties of Deputy Director of the Agency since June 26, 2023.
