Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Mr. Dejan Damnjanović met in the Tax Administration premises with the director of this institution Ms. Dragana Marković.
They discussed their cooperation, as well as the need and methods of its improvement. They pointed out mutual willingness to continue good communication and coordination, with a focus on a proper implementation of the Agreement on business-technical cooperation between these two institutions.
Data exchange between the Agency and Tax Administration is of utmost importance for implementation of corruption prevention mechanisms, in particular in the area of verification of assets and incomes of public officials.
Conclusion of the new Agreement which will encompass the extended competences of the respective state authorities was agreed with an aim of further reinforcement of cooperation.
