COOPERATION BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND THE UNIVERSITY OF CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION AND POLICE STUDIES

Director of the Agency Dejan Damnjanović and the Rector of the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies, Prof. Dr. Zoran Đurđević, held a working meeting with the aim of implementing the Cooperation Agreement between the two institutions, which was signed on December 9, 2025, within the framework of an international conference organized to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day.

At the meeting, an agreement was reached regarding the implementation of the first activity envisaged by the Agreement, which relates to the establishment of a Working Group for drafting a Manual on developing anti-corruption awareness among students of the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies, as well as strengthening the competencies in the field of corruption prevention of future members of the Ministry of Interior.

On this occasion, Director Damnjanović emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two institutions in raising awareness of anti-corruption issues, to which the joint development of the Manual and other projects planned under the Agreement will significantly contribute.

Rector Đurđević expressed his gratitude for the trust placed by the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption in the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies and highlighted the University’s readiness to actively participate in the training of Agency staff and in raising anti-corruption awareness among future members of the Ministry of Interior.

In addition to activities related to drafting the Manual, the topics of the working meeting also included training for Agency employees aimed at strengthening analytical and forensic skills, as well as the Agency’s participation in improving the professional knowledge of students of the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies in the field of corruption prevention.
