On December 11 and 12, the Agency organized the eighteenth training for lobbyists, within the framework of the competences established by the law.
The participants were welcomed on the first day of the training by Director Dejan Damnjanović, who emphasized the importance of lobbying in the process of adopting laws, other regulations, and general acts, as well as its role in protecting the public interest and strengthening the rule of law in order to prevent corruption. “The Agency is convinced that lobbying should become increasingly important in the context of our country’s accession to the European Union, and that it should soon become one of the essential means that can help position our country and ensure its presence in international institutions, protect national interests, and realize business projects,” Damnjanović pointed out.
In accordance with the Training Program, representatives of the Agency introduced the candidates to the legal framework governing lobbying activities, the Code of Conduct for lobbying participants, as well as topics related to the constitutional system of the Republic of Serbia, state administration and local self-government, criminal offenses and misdemeanors, and data protection. Special attention during the two-day training was devoted to issues of conflict of interest and the financing of political activities.
All five candidates who took the test on December 15, 2025, successfully passed it.
