At the initiative of the "Dimitrije Davidović" Law and Business School from Zemun, an educational visit of students to the Agency was organized, with the aim of introducing young people to the role, responsibilities and importance of this institution in the system of corruption prevention. The visit was carried out as part of educational activities aimed at developing awareness of the importance of legality, transparency and accountability in the work of state institutions. Students had the opportunity to learn directly about the mechanisms for preventing corruption and conflicts of interest, as well as the importance of respecting ethical standards in performing public affairs.
Special attention was paid to examples of good practice in the fight against corruption. Lectures on the aforementioned topics were held by representatives of the Agency's sectors in the areas of resolving conflicts of interest and control of management rights, control of property and income, control of political activities and integrity, and anti-corruption education. The students showed great interest, asked numerous questions and actively participated in the conversation with the lecturers.
Such meetings represent an important segment in the education and empowerment of young generations, that will in future contribute to building a society based on respect for the law, ethical values, and responsibility in public action.
The Agency will continue to support educational programs and initiatives that contribute to raising awareness about the importance of corruption prevention and strengthening the culture of integrity among young people.
