THE 11TH SESSION OF THE CONFERENCE OF THE STATES PARTIES (COSP11) TO THE UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION AGAINST CORRUPTION (UNCAC)

The Director of the Agency, Dejan Damnjanović, as the head of the delegation of the Republic of Serbia, is participating in the Eleventh Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (COSP11), which is held from 15 to 19 December 2025 in Doha, Qatar. The theme of the conference is “Shaping Integrity for the Future”. The conference, which takes place every two years, is a key forum where the signatory states of the UNCAC make important decisions regarding the implementation of the Convention.

The Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption is one of the most important events at the global level in the field of combating corruption, organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, strategies and best practices in the context of global efforts to combat corruption.

With a focus on enhancing international cooperation, the conference includes the participation of all signatory states, civil society organizations and other relevant stakeholders. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, attend accompanying workshops and learn about the latest trends, tools and approaches in the fight against corruption.

In addition to the plenary session, Director Damnjanović will attend numerous side events that will be organized within the conference, including events organized by the Italian National Anti-Corruption Agency (ANAC), the International Anti-Corruption Academy, the French Anti-Corruption Agency (AFA), the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI), the Network of Anti-Corruption Authorities (NCPA) and meet with eminent representatives of related institutions and numerous international partners.

The participation of the Agency's director at the Conference contributes to the exchange of views with representatives of other countries, international organizations and civil society, thereby improving international cooperation, strengthening Serbia's visibility on the global stage and contributing to the creation of more effective strategies for preventing and combating corruption.
