The Agency's representative participated in the 101st Plenary meeting of the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) of the Council of Europe, held from 18 to 21 November 2025 in Strasbourg.
The Plenary meeting examined follow- up reports on preventing corruption and promoting integrity in central government and law enforcement agencies for Belgium, Croatia, France, Finland, Iceland and Slovenia, as well as follow-up reports on compliance with recommendations on preventing corruption among members of parliament, judges and prosecutors for Belgium and Romania.
A side event was also held, in cooperation with the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, titled “Strengthening good governance: Consolidating Integrity and Accountability at the Sub- National Level” with the participation of representatives of the Congress, elected officials from local and regional authorities, and representatives of associations, civil society and youth.
Discussions explored how GRECO’s 6th Evaluation Round can reinforce integrity and accountability across local and regional authorities.
