The Anti-Corruption Agency Monitors the Presidential Campaign23/03/2017
The Anti-Corruption Agency Board, at the session that was held on March 22, 2017 brought conclusions to dismiss three applications regarding the public competition for the Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, since there were incomplete, candidates did not deliver documentation specified in the advertisement that prove that they fulfil conditions for the Director.
In terms of further procedures, the Anti-Corruption Agency Board unanimously adopted the conclusion to continue the procedure for the election of the Anti-Corruption Agency Director despite the fact that on April 8, 2017, mandate of four Board members will expire. It is estimated that for technical reasons, due to the large number of candidates, the Board will probably not be able to complete the process until the above mentioned deadline.
