• Study Visit to Italy

    flag_yellow_lowWithin the Twinning Project “Prevention and Fight against Corruption“ representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agency visited Italy. On that occassion they got insight into the competences of the National Anti-Corruption Authority, Agency for Digital Italy as well as National Institute for Social Care of the Republic of Italy, with a particular emphasis on IT solutions used by these institutions, which might serve as the best practice examples for the improvement of the work of the Anti-Corruption Agency. Italian colleagues presented their experiences in the area of acting upon complaints, IT security policy, conflict of interest as well as control of public contracts.

  • The Anti-Corruption Agency Urges the Institution of the Commissioner to Inspect the Siniša Mali Case

    logo_acas_engIn the last couple of months, the Anti-Corruption Agency as an independent state organ, has been under criticism and pressures regarding the Siniša Mali case.
    With regard to the statement of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection and his statements to the media, the Anti-Corruption Agency for the third time calls on the institution of the Commissioner, to inspect, as soon as possible, the Mayor Siniša Mali case, so as to avoid further tendentious and unfounded assessments that the Agency is protecting public officials.

  • To Accuse the Anti-Corruption Agency Represents the Precedent

    logo_acas_eng  The Anti-Corruption Agency unjustifiably found itself in a position to defend itself after it had submitted a Report to the Superior Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade due to the suspicion that the Mayor of Belgrade, Siniša Mali had committed certain criminal acts that are prosecuted ex officio. Instead of positive reactions Agency met with condemnation and unfounded speculation by certain part of public , as well as the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, which raises doubt among the citizens in the work of independent bodies.
